The Artist’s Studio IT Unit comprises 3 worktop shelves and a wide range of modular drawers.
- The upper shelf can tilt to whatever angle you want and is height-adjustable, which allows you to work comfortably both sitting and standing.
This shelf then becomes an easel, an escritoire. Horizontally or even in 1st tilt position, the upper shelf can also accommodate your computer screen, if you do not position it on the side shelf.
- The lower shelf, when pulled forward, enables you to do your activity sitting down.
- The middle shelf slides sideways, providing a surface for putting down equipment that is handy for both right-handed and left-handed people.
The option "auxiliary shelf" allows to extend forward the middle shelf, once slided on one side.
An option is proposed to install your CPU on the side of the cabinet.
The storage units comprise reversible modules, to choose from 13 (see Drawers modules information sheet).
The casters, with twin rollers and a rubber binding, make the Artist’s Studio IT Unit very easy to handle.
The Artist's Studio IT Unit is designed to bring art and information technology together. With its three work areas the Artist's Studio IT Unit is a multi-purpose work-centre effortlessly incorporating IT into an ergonomic art work unit.
Whether through space constraints or because the artistic activity in question necessitates the use of IT at the same time as using the drawing board, the Artist's Studio IT Unit still provides all the usefulness of the Artist's Studio Unit - different angles for the main work top (Positions of the upper shelf), use of three different work spaces, optimised storage using the huge choice of drawer modules, etc.
The modular drawer system makes each unit a unique, personalised piece of furniture.
Each unit contains drawers of different sizes and heights (see drawers modules). Some drawers are designed to accommodate a keyboard and mouse, as well as art materials.
