At Auboi, we designed the Leatherworking Table XL because we know this craft is as demanding as we are.

Used for centuries, leather is a fascinating material that requires very specific skills to work with. This vast field demands patience, passion and a keen eye for detail. There are many approaches to working leather, each based on a series of techniques requiring specific tools.

For this reason, it is essential to be properly set up and to have all the necessary equipment within easy reach.

The generous dimensions of the main work surface provide a comfortable space for leatherworking, while the side and lower shelves allow tools and materials to be place nearby, freeing up the primary workspace.

The high modularity of the cabinet is a major advantage. Thanks to the wide range of drawer modules, you can adapt storage to your needs. Hammering chisels, burnishing tools, awls, marking wheels, foot knives and half-moon knives can all be stored nealty.

Moreover, ours drawers have no stops. They can be removed and placed on any of the three slinding trays. In addition, 14 different drawer modules allow you to configure the unit exactly as you need.

Leather scarps and small pieces, often carefully preserved, can be stored and accessed immediatly. This way, your workspace stays clear and organized.

The configuration presented here perfectly illustrates this modulariry. The upper section has two drawer module n°1, one module n°6 and one module n°8, giving a total of 18 drawers. Meawhile, the lower section has shelves, ideal for storing rolls of leather.

Overall, the unit forms a complete, ergonomic workspace. It is perfectly suited to the demands of artisan leatherworking.
