The workshop table XL for book restoration

Bringing books back to life All books can bear the marks of time, whether damage caused by parasites or flooding. Restoration aims to restore books to a condition that is strong enough to be consulted over the long term, by adapting the necessary treatments to the paper and binding according to the period in which they were made. The dimensions of the top tray provide a comfortable space for cutting binding boards, foam board, bubble cards, etc. with ease. It is also easy and ergonomic to work with marbled endpapers. Mounted on runners, the top shelf can be positioned towards the front or rear of the unit. The side shelves can accommodate a range of equipment such as presses, binding and twine cutters, magnifying tools and sprays, while small tools such as knives, scissors, brushes and punches can be stored on the lower shelves. All these items can be stored in the various drawer modules on offer. By choosing the right drawers, you can also store cutters, glues and adhesives, measuring tools, spools of wire and string, screws, rulers and sanding blocks. The table chosen here has shelves to hold rolls of paper. As shown in some of the photos, it has been designed to provide two workstations facing each other.
