Why did we create these furniture pieces ?
The art workshop cabinet
We first created the art workshop cabinet because it was a real need in our daily life : a lack of dedicated space and limited time were the biggest obstacles to creating.
My husband, Martial Becquart, a cabinetmaker and painter, was frustrated that he couldn’t paint whenever he had the time. After we developped the art workshop cabinet, we quickly noticed how happy it made him to always have his studio ready, his materials within reach, and how convenient itw as for me not to have to « move him out of the way » when it was time for the kids’ homework or dinner!
The sewing workshop cabinet
Soon after, I realized that a setup adapted for a sewing could allow me to pick up again an activity I loved so much in my teenage years. I was ready to try the prototype 😊 , a prototype I still use today !
A dedicated space, whatever the activity
This need became even clearer when we began presenting our furniture at trade shows . We hadn’t fully anticipated that, no matter the activity, the recurring challenge was the same : having a dedicated space keeping all mateirals within reach and staying well oprganised.
We were delighted to meet passionate creatives who introduced us to entirely new worlds. At these shows, fellow exhibitors showed us the wealth of specialized materials for each activity, wich helped us design appropirate storage solutions.

Mobility
From the very beginning, it was clear that mobility needed to be part of the design for two reasons: lighting and storage. Natural or artificial, light is essential for any creative activity. The double-wheel casters provide excellent manoeuvrability, allowing you to position the cabinet in the best-lit area for each task.
Mobility also lets you move the cabinet from a storage corner to an open workspace. Designed to fit through standard doors, it can easily be relocated from one room to another.
