When we start painting, we don’t think about storing our canvases. And yet storage can be a real headache. As a result, canvases end up under the bed, behind the wardrobe or in the cellar!
Whatever the case, finding a proper method of storage helps to preserve your canvases. What’s more, it saves space and means they can be found quickly.

Designing my own furniture
We’ve created Art storage system with wheeles for storing canvases and paintings to meet this need.
Each storage system has three storage spaces.
There are two heights: 154 cm and 200 cm.
The interior storage height is 140 cm for the 154 cm storage system and 186 cm for the 200 cm storage system . Spaces are 28.5 cm wide.
Shelves for canvas and stretcher s storage system
The storage system are sold without shelves. If you have small paintings to store, we can fit shelves to provide several levels of storage.
For 154 cm, there are 8 positions in the centre of the uprights; the 1st position is 38.4 cm above the bottom shelf and the 8th is 36.4 cm below the top shelf.
For the 200 cm, 12 positions are distributed in the centre of the uprights; the 1st position is 42.2 cm above the bottom shelf and the 12th is 40.2 cm below the top shelf.
Wheeles make it easy to move the trolleys.
As an option, the height of the trolley can be reduced to suit your needs.
The storage system for storing paintings are shipped :
- assembled (or unassembled on request) for mainland France.
- unassembled outside mainland France to minimise transport costs.
The storage system for storing paintings are shipped complements the Artist’s Studio Unit and Easel with Drawers.
We use solid beech for the structure and medium for the tops, which ensures that the furniture is of high quality and long-lasting.
Resolutely opposed to programmed obsolescence, we design our furniture to last and be passed on to future generations.
