We have designed the Artist’s Studio Unit so that creativity can express itself at any time. Indeed, so that each artist can give free rein to his inspiration, his space of creation must remain available.

The Artist’s Studio Unit comprises 3 worktop shelves and a wide range of modular drawers.

 –  The upper shelf can tilt to whatever angle you want and is height-adjustable, which allows you to work comfortably both sitting and standing (see unit in situ). This shelf then becomes an easel, an escritoire.

 –  The middle shelf slides sideways, providing a surface for putting down equipment that is handy for both right-handed and left-handed people.

The auxiliary shelf (see options of the Artist’s Studio Unit) is positioned on this shelf, on the right or on the left.

 

 – The lower shelf

when pulled forward, enables you to do your activity sitting down. It is also a space where you can put your documentation and material.

The Artist’s Studio Unit is available in two heights, 95 cm and 101 cm. The choice of height depends on your size, the activity performed and the working position.

How to choose the height of the cabinet:

Have your equipment stored in the same place!

The storage units comprise reversible modules, to choose from 13 (see Drawers modules information sheet).

The different drawer sizes allow you to adapt the cabinet to your equipment storage, whatever your activity.
The drawers of drawers modules no. 3 are the full width of the cabinet and can accommodate sheets up to 60 x 80 cm.

High mobility

We know how essential light is to any creation. That’s why we have equipped all of our studio furniture with casters to choose the best place to work.
The castors, with twin rollers and a rubber binding, make the Artist’s Studio Unit very easy to handle.

We use solid beech for the structure, and medium for the trays and drawer modules, which ensures the furniture, quality and durability.

The choice of a style

Our furniture is now offered in two styles, the “classic Auboi” with brass lenses, the “zen Auboi” with black lenses.

Description

The Artist’s Studio Unit is designed for graphic arts work. With its wide range of angles of tilt, the various techniques: oil, watercolour, pastel, drawing, charcoal, acrylic, etc. are all comfortable to use.
The “double worktop shelf” option (see options information sheet) means the unit can also be adapted to framing. The modular layout of the drawer modules makes each unit unique and fully customised.
Each module offers drawers of different sizes and depths (see modules information sheet). Functional and ergonomic organisation is provided for activities such as bookbinding, illumination, calligraphy, box-making, India ink drawing, china painting, etc.
